The story behind the print

At dawn, before the day begins, a kolam is drawn at the doorstep in rice flour: dots first, then looping lines. It welcomes whoever walks in, and feeds the ants and the birds. By evening it is gone, and tomorrow it will be drawn again.

We took that story and gave it a modern, quiet shape, something to wear, use and keep, with the patience of the original still in it. This design is inspired by the tradition and printed with modern methods.
