Minimal front, statement back.

This tee carries geometry inspired by Ajrakh, the resist block-printing craft of Kutch in Gujarat and Barmer in Rajasthan. For centuries, Khatri families have printed it with indigo and madder, dyeing and washing the cloth again and again until the pattern appears, and printing it on both sides because the back matters as much as the front.

We've reimagined that geometry in a clean, modern print on a soft, breathable unisex tee, made for everyday wear. Read the story of Ajrakh →

The story behind the print

Before the indigo and madder ever meet the cloth, it is printed, covered in mud, dyed and washed, again and again. Khatri families carried this craft from Sindh to Kutch and Barmer around the 16th century, and printed it on both sides. To wear Ajrakh is to carry that patience with you.

We took that story and gave it a modern, quiet shape, something to wear, use and keep, with the patience of the original still in it. This design is inspired by the tradition and printed with modern methods.

  • RegionKutch (Gujarat) and Barmer (Rajasthan), with roots in Sindh
